This was one of about 25 images I took on this evening looking across the bay. The colors and the saturation changed about every minute, becoming more brilliant as the time passed. This was the last image in the sequence and my favorite. It is so stunning that it almost looks fake. However, this is my best recollection of how it looked that night.
