This Brown Pelican just dove in, ate a fish, and was taking off in search of another meal. He (she?) was just off shore in the corridor area of Cabo San Lucas.This species lives only in the tropics and subtropics of North and South America and is unique among the world's eight pelican species in that it is strictly marine and fishes by plunge-diving.
